Noir & Beer

I'm hoping the Seattle Metroblogging folks won't think I'm a huge slacker for only posting once my first week. It's been a busy week and now I'm headed to San Francisco early tomorrow morning for 3 days of film noir and beer. I'll have to make up for it with 3 Seattle posts next week.

In SF, I'll be trying out The Monk's Kettle for lunch tomorrow and I should be able to carve out some good beer drinking time on Saturday afternoon and Sunday evening. That means Toronado and City Beer. Man, I wish Toronado had a current tap list. Then I could foam at the mouth in anticipation. It looks like between The Monk's Kettle and City Beer, I should be able to get my first crack at Moonlight's Toast. Craig at City Beer also just tapped some Abyss and has the Lagunitas Hop Stoopid and Marin Breakout Stout on draft as well.

Anyone in SF that I know or hope to get to know should email me and let me know if you want to meet up.

Have fun, happy drinking.

Haha, I like how Tornado's current beer list is from May 2000. I wish Brouwer's would have a list too. Damn lazyweb ;)

If you get a chance, get over to Uber and try the Deschutes Abyss on tap. Holy shit...it's actually worth the hype.

Saying 'aloha' now that I live in Sacto, so how the hell are you? I will be in Berkeley Fri. night at Jupiter's to see some friends from Hawai'i playing music and I hope to be around the bay all weekend. My bro plans on being in the city Sat., I think, so I look forward to hanging with you then. peace, ah

It'll be good to see you, man. Things have been fine. Just getting deeper and deeper into the abyss of beer enthusiasm. My poor liver...

Hey, I'll buy you a beer if you promise me that if my ex starts his rhyming schpiel with my name that you'll loudly tell him, Dude! She dumped you two years ago! Leave her alone!

I'll try to catch up with you on Sunday to make good on the beer itself.

Ha...don't know if I'd have the gumption to do that. Free beer is a big incentive, though. Luckily he's not introducing a film set in SF, so the odds of him saying it go down considerably.

I know! I'll just have to make up for it by trying as many beers as I can at Toronado.

What's your take on Hops & Props at the Museum of Flight? Did you go last year? Are you going this year?
