i laugh at your conversation skills...or lack of

kai has an interesting, tongue-in-cheek (i hope) diatribe against vegetarians in his most recent entry. even though he calls vegetables "stupid" and talks about how much he loves meat, i've seen that fool scarf down some good veggie eats and then say how he should eat less meat, be healthier, etc...
and when he goes on to declare his love of fish, i feel compelled to burst his bubble a bit. yeah, fish is tasty. i'll be the first to admit that. but the stuff is just as bad for you as other flesh foods. if you think about how polluted our waters are, you'll realize that your delicious dinner is full of mercury, lead and countless other pesticides and chemicals. and it's pretty damn high in cholesterol as well. but hey...everyone should eat whatever the hell they want. i'll stick with my tofu, rice & beans and veggie burgers. i think if kai read this guy's book , he might have trouble eating cow, bird and even his little friends from the sea.
ah...i want to call some attention to a band i recently discovered. the moonbabies are a two-piece from sweden. both the guy and girl have great voices and they play songs of every style imaginable, from pure pop to shoegazer to noisy punk. at least half the songs on their cd, june and novas are the kind that won't leave your head for days. i urge those that like good music to take note.
