The Beer Retard - October 22nd, 2001

my friend andrew sent me a demo from his new band, panic in detroit. three songs, two of which are excellent. i don't know what they're called cos the fool didn't include song titles in the package. i'm excited for him because they've only been playing a short time and, from what i hear on the demo, have a lot of potential. andrew always asks me who i think his bands sound like. in the past, i've always been unable to come up with a comparison. this time, i hear the definite influence of superdrag ...and that's a very good thing.

i took today off from work to hang out with kristina. it'll be the last time i see her before she moves to the barren wasteland of texas. oops...i promised myself i wouldn't bag on my ex-homeland. oh well. i'm still awaiting her arrival. i guess we're going record shopping or something like that. hope everyone else enjoys their monday at work...hahaha
