The Beer Retard - November 12th, 2001

today's is francesca's birthday. since i had the day off, i was asleep when she left today and didn't get to tell her happy birthday. i remember her telling me bye, but i was pretty out of it and mumbled something incomprehensible in reply. hopefully, she'll let me take her to dinner at this sushi place 'round the corner when she gets home tonight. she likes sushi. i like tempura. i sure do like me some of that veggie tempura.

i spent the day eating pizza, drinking beer and playing pool with faris. his roommate jason joined us for the pizza, but not for the billiards. it was a good way to spend a day off, but i neglected my laundry and apt. cleaning duties. now i've only got a few days to get straight before the guests arrive. so be it. holidays are for relaxing, aren't they?

woke up to news of another plane going down in NY. looks like it was an accident, but shit...how much more can the people of NY take? i vaguely remember going to rockaway beach when i was a kid. hopefully, there weren't too many deaths on the ground. at the very least 250+ people on board are gone. horrible...
