The Beer Retard - December 30th, 2001

saw the royal tenenbaums yesterday in oakland. it was okay, although i'm not sure if it's worthy of all the superlatives the critics are throwing out about it. there were a lot of funny moments, though...and the soundtrack was good (ramones, clash, velvet underground, nick drake).

i'm still not quite finished picking my 20 favorite movies of the 200+ i've seen this year. but here are the 10 records i played the most, in no particular order:
