Wednesday music

As I went to lunch today, I was telling a co-worker about a long-ass hair that
decadentscholar and I got in a burrito awhile back. I think I jinxed myself because I got a goddamn hair in my soup at lunch today. Yes, I'm sure it wasn't mine. It's difficult to enjoy your meal once that happens. It's not as bad as finding a bug or something, but it still sucks.
I haven't had time to answer the 5 questions that
slipkid fired at me earlier, so here is today's music:
Listened to in their entirety:
Cocteau Twins - Head Over Heels
Killing Joke - Democracy
Psychedelic Furs - Forever Now
Listened to almost half of:
Teenage Fanclub - Bandwagonesque
Man, I've been listening to a lot of 80's stuff lately. What can I say, those first three Psych Furs records are damn good. I'm surprised at how good the Killing Joke record (which isn't from the 80's) is as well. The only song of theirs I'd heard was "Eighties," which has a riff that Nirvana ripped off and eventually got sued for using in "Come As You Are." Word has it that there's no hard feelings since Dave Grohl is playing drums on the new Killing Joke record.
